WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Eyelash Extensions is a technique to enhance the length, thickness, and fullness of natural eyelashes. It involves the application of individual synthetic fibers to the base of the natural lashes using a special adhesive. These extensions come in different lengths, thicknesses, and styles to achieve various looks extending and lengthening your own lashes. Asma at Boudoir Lashes is an expert with over 10years of experience applying eyelash extensions. Asma has applied eyelash extensions for a variety of celebrities including Pixie Lott for her wedding day, Joely Gabrielle Sanderson, Mahalia, Ayra Starr to name a few.
CLASSIC TECHNIQUE
WHAT SET SHOULD I GET?
The first question I get asked is ‘What Lash Set Should I Have Applied?’ - This is all down to personal preference and how much time you’d like to spend laying down on my super comfortable treatment bed. My advice to newby lash enthusiasts would be to start simple and then build on that. My entry level lash set would be a Classic Set of Au Natural Lashes which will provide a 30-40% coverage. What this means is that you will only have unto 30-40% of eyelash extended based on your overall lash count. Classic Lashes are one extension applied to one individual natural lash using a ratio of One to One depending on the amount of natural lashes you have. If you have a lot of natural lashes then the one to one ratio will be a lot more. For example, if you have only 50 natural lashes then the set of Classic Lashes will only be as good as the 50 individual lashes applied. Classic Lashes are perfect for everyday lashes that enhance your natural lash line. If you are unsure what would be best for you book a consultation so that the right set can be applied for you.
3D LDN VOLUME & HYBRID TECHNIQUE
The Fluffy Lash Technique creates a nice gentle textured lash effect without making your eyes look too heavy. This look is my most requested lash look by all brides. I first created this look for Joely Gabrielle Sanderson for her wedding day and ever since then its been my most requested lash look. My technique uses ultra fine lashes to create depth and volume without overbearing the natural lash line.
DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE YOUR NATURAL LASHES?
When eyelash extensions are applied correctly they do not damage your own natural lashes. Each lash is applied meticulously one by one, using the right length and thickness to ensure the health of your natural lashes.
GOOD TO KNOW
Please ensure you arrive at your appointment on time and with clean makeup free lashes. We cannot apply eyelash extensions ontop of makeup / mascara. We will take the time out of your appointment to clean your lashes which will mean you will have less treatment application time - This is non negotiable. Please note if you are late for your appointment we reserve the right to refuse to follow through on your appointment and you will be asked to book a new slot. You will not be offered a refund. Do not arrive with contact lens on and ensure you keep to the aftercare, keeping your new lashes dry for a full 24-48hrs post application.
